Dr. Daniel Quon
Dedicated to Excellence in Surgery and Compassionate Patient Care
Dr. Quon has over forty years of experience as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has earned a reputation as a caring and compassionate oral surgeon who sees and treats patients from all walks of life.
As a native Mississippian from Hernando, he began his career as a member of the first dental class at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) as a member of the first graduating class. Following graduation, he continued his postgraduate training in the General Practice Residency, a hospital-based program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Quon went on to further his education and training, earning his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, one of the leading centers for postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Philosophy of Care
Even though Dr. Quon is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose expertise is the head and neck region, he believes in evaluating his patients thoroughly. He listens and asks questions to determine how the overall health of the patient can impact the treatment or procedure to be performed. He takes time to explain procedures and treatment options as he believes a patient who is educated about the problem he or she is being referred for is not only a better, but a more compliant patient.
